India is known as the “Land of Spices.” Spices have a significant role in India’s history, Culture, and Culinary Identity, as well as medical uses. Indian food is not a food without spices. Indians are known for spices and spicy foods. Spices native to India (such as cardamom and turmeric) were cultivated as early as the 8th century BC in the gardens of Babylon. People know that India is known for spicy food, but they have no idea that Indian spices have a pretty huge unknown side. The Indian spices are classified into three eras: the early period, the medieval age, and the early modern period. This editorial is informative and kind of interactive as well. It will be divided into a few sections, such as the History of it, uses and benefits/and importance for Indians. There will be samples of spices because each spice has their own texture to feel.
